ABOUT ME
Gianna Grivetti (she/her) is a multifaceted actress, dancer, choreographer and educator from Richmond, KY. She trained at the Institute for American musical Theatre in New York City under industry professionals where she trained stage and film acting, voice, and dance. During that time she also extended her training into lyra, contortion, hand balancing, and acrobatics. Before her move to NYC at just 17, she extensively trained AcrobaticArts at the only Module 2 certified studio in KY and attended trainings across. the United States and Canada and is now an •Acrobatic Arts module 1 certified instructor available for acro classes and private lessons.
As a choreographer, she began winning student choreography awards at just 10 years old, but began creating her own group works at age 15. She has since worked as an associate to Briana Reed at the City College of New York (Bat Boy;The Musical), Molloy University (As You Like It) and Step's on Broadway ("Love Simulation Theory".)
She has choreographed award winning Solo, Group, and Production numbers for competitive dance studios- most recently receiving an Invite to the contemporary collective and work showcased at CRU Nationals "Choreography Review."
As for Professional Choreography, she choreographed an acro dance piece entitled "Authenticity: Redefining Beauty" for Allegro Dance Project, and "Rama" for Movement Continuums Choreography Exhibit.
As an educator, Gianna's classes have an emphasis on foundational strength, breathing through movement, creating confidence, fostering individuality, and practicing safe stretching techniques with the guidance of Alixa Flexibility curriculum.

Now splitting her time between NYC and her home base in Richmond, KY, she is a member of Lexingtons Movement Continuum Contemporary Dance Company, while teaching, choreographing, and serving as the competition team director at BlueGrass Dance Training Center.
